We welcome Kevin Lee as our new Director of Music, and ask the Lord’s blessings on Kevin’s work among us.
Music is a lot of fun, enriching our lives and services – new members are always welcome – so come out and have a good musical time with us! Our music groups start up again in the fall – a great time to try things out if you haven’t been involved before. Welcome!
Note: Start-up dates for each group TBA:
Handbell Choir (Bells): Thursdays 6:30-7:30 p.m.
What’s involved?
The Handbell Choir plays in church every few months. You don’t need to know how to read music or have prior experience with handbells to join this group. It’s a fun way to make music as a team!
Senior Choir: Thursdays 7:30-9:00 p.m.
What’s involved?
We sing at the 10:30 a.m. service about twice a month, plus at special services.
Rehearsals include voice and choir building, and a variety of repertoire.
Anyone over 14 years old who enjoys singing is welcome! No prior experience is necessary, just a desire to sing to the Lord.
Children’s Tone Chimes: Sundays 9:00-9:15 a.m. (just before Sunday School)
What’s involved?
Children of all ages enjoy making music together, learning to play tone chimes! The group will play during Divine Services from time to time during the year.
Junior Choir: Sundays right after church 11:30-11:45 a.m.
What’s involved?
Children of all ages enjoy singing together, and contribute to the Divine Services from time to time during the year.
— For children’s tone chimes and choir: Parents, please make every effort to bring your children on time, every week, so they can enjoy participating with others, and learn their parts! Thank you!
